Adoptions

Applications, HOA pet policies and Vet Records (if applicable) will be required.

Each application is GENERAL and does not reserve a specific dog. Dogs are adopted on a first come, first serve basis.

*If you have previously submitted an application and everything has stayed the same, your application is still good, and there is no need to submit a new application!

Guidelines for adopting

Spotted Dog Rescue is looking for responsible and caring people to give our dogs their much needed second chance at happiness and stability. The following are just a few initial guidelines you should consider before deciding to adopt:

  • Must be at least 21 years old (We look for stable renter’s history.)

  • Home visit may be required, in person or virtually.

  • Adoption fee is $400 and is nonrefundable. Your adoption donation covers the animal’s spay or neuter if they are old enough, vaccines, flea treatment and deworming as needed, transportation, and any other medical treatment as needed.

  • Must be allowed to have dogs where you live, and be able to provide proof (copy of lease, HOA rules, etc.)
